Meet Victor Orlowski

Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Orlowski.

Victor, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
When I was 19, I needed a job to pay for my college tuition. I decided to look for a job as a helper in remodeling company. After changing companies every few weeks for half a year because of unfriendly employers who wanted take an advantage of a new employee and not pay them for a week of work, I begin working with my father in his company. I was working with my father for a couple of years, he thought me a lot about remodeling, construction and work ethic. After gaining enough experience, I wanted to do my own thing, so I established my business in October of 2017 and begin my own journey.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I had some difficulties. it was a lot of stress because of figuring out how to get clients and have a cash flow to pay bills and mortgage, but I knew if I work hard enough and get creative this will pass and I will figure it out. Also, I have joined Le Tip of Schaumburg networking organization which helped me a lot with my business.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Orvick – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I have established my company in October of 2017, the name of my company was my girlfriend’s idea she combined my first and last name. My friend, David helped me with a logo of the company. Orvick specializes in helping people renovate their house in a home they will enjoy living in and when they walk into their kitchen or bathroom they feel great because everything is the way they dreamed about it. My company takes care of all the aspects of the project from planning, demolition to hiring the right contractors to get a job done, so our clients don’t have to do all of that. What sets me apart from other companies is I want to build a bond with my clients and I’m looking for a relationship, not a one-time project, that’s why I’m doing my job the best I can. Also, I understand that my clients in order to renovate their home have to make some sacrifices to be able to pay me for my work so I’m trying to give them the best service I’m able to.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plan for the future is to build the most trusted remodeling company in Chicago and its suburbs, I’m looking forward to opening my own office and showroom in Chicago.
