I developed a love for retail fashion throughout my high school and college years while holding jobs with couple big name retailers. Once I graduated college my goal was to open a boutique, but the timing wasn’t right.
I believe everything in life happens as it should, and I found a boutique store with an ad online stating they wanted to sell the company. I decided to reach out and meet with the previous owner this space. One thing led to the next and we were able to put a deal together that we’re both happy with, and that is how Blush Boutique was created.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We’ve only been in business little over a month and have done the research on what potential challenges may arise in this industry. We’ve proactively prepared as best as possible to face any challenges head-on.

Blush Boutique is a women’s clothing store located in the heart of Chicago’s Lakeview East neighborhood. Blush believes in offering fashionable affordable clothing and accessories with price points ranging from $25-$140. Each item is hand selected to bring YOU a style that is current and timeless.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
There are a few aspects of the business that we focus on most i.e.; customer service, unique inventory, and all while staying within affordable price points.
