Meet Trailblazer Adodo A Robinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Adodo A Robinson.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Adodo. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I knew in my teenage years that I wanted to be in the beauty and fashion industry. I started my first salon in the early 2000 in Germany before relocating to the US and starting Chéz Délali Salon and Day Spa in 2012 with the goal of creating a professional, classy and welcoming environment for my clients in the south suburbs.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
My challenge at the beginning was finding the right resources and other women in business willing to share information and support each other in the industry. My advice for young women barking on this entrepreneur journey is to do their research, find a mentor, attend networking events gear toward their field and definitely utilize the small business office/organization in their community. Don’t be afraid to fail and just do it.
