Today we’d like to introduce you to Tian Xia.
Tian, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started my practice in 2004 after I graduated from my fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management from Loyola University at Maywood.
At the start, it was difficult to get my name out there. This is gradually overcome with the quality of my service and patient’s responses. Over the past 13 years, IPM has grown into multiple location with multiple providers from different discipline to better serve our patients.
Has it been a smooth road?
Sometimes, it has been a struggle, but most smooth. The major struggles are: 1. get my name out there when the practice first started. 2. personnel issues. 3. Obamacare reform and insurance company policy changes made medical practice very different.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Integrated Pain Management story. Tell us more about the business.
My company is a medical practice providing Interventional Pain Management to Chicago land patients. I am proud that my company provides consistent, premium, and honest care to our patients. In pain management, my practice also utilizes least amount of Opioids to control pain, and we consistently get our patients better to return to work force.
In addition, my practice also gave me a platform to research and develop new technology. In the other company I owe solely — Tian Medical LLC. I produce a product called Tx360. This product is produced locally in Illinois, and used by many institutions around the world, including U.S. Navy and Army medical center. There are also many research involved with the Tx360 platform.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Healthcare is very challenging field due to regulation. We will continue to grow steady.
