Today we’d like to introduce you to Michael Camodeca.
Michael, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I founded SkyView Technology, Inc. in 2002 to serve the unique needs of Chicago land’s small to medium-sized business communities. Creating a customer-focused business model emphasizing on clear communication and prompt, outstanding service, I started SkyView Technology, Inc. as lead engineer, with a small client base and a few referrals. Since then, we have expanded to service operations of every size, but continue to maintain our strong commitment to customer service.
In addition to technology consulting, my experience includes teaching, sales, marketing, business development, and management. I also speak throughout the region about business technology solutions and strategies, and serve as an industry expert for a variety of national media outlets, including the Chicago Tribune, the Fox News channel, technology trade publications, and radio programs nationwide. Throughout these efforts I have been able to expand and grow our services.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any growth of a small company has its ups and downs. Learning to connect to different customer’s needs and focus takes time, mentoring and maturity. The growth and learning curve has been exciting and rewarding.

Our company delivers IT consulting and support focusing on implementing basic office computer setups to designing intricate multi-national networks and complex Cloud solutions. We are known for providing top notch customer support to all our clients whether large or small in nature. We are most proud of the client relationships we create and the growth we have sustained through satisfied customer experiences, subsequent professional referrals and long-term client retention.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I was blessed to have a wonderful and incredibly close family unit. My best memories are of spending time with them ranging from following the Chicago professional sports teams, fishing, boating, camping and always celebrating our family member’s milestones.
