I have had my license in cosmetology for 30 years I have always worked in this area at various salons. Seven years ago One of the salons I was working at was changing from commission to booth rental. I decided to look around and maybe start working at home. I walked into a salon that was selling all their equipment and when I went in there she was closing and said she would sell the entire salon to me. After talking it through with my husband Intrigue Salon & Day Spa was born.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road, with any business there are ups and downs. A lot of things effect this business, economy, gas prices, people losing their jobs, moving etc.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Intrigue Salon & Day Spa – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a full service salon and day spa. we do all hair services, haircuts, color, highlights, deep conditioners, etc.
All waxing services, eyebrow shaping, full face waxing as well as all body waxing. All facial services, moisturizing, anti-aging, acne etc. All nails services, pedicure, manicure, acrylic nails, gel nails, no chip, etc. All massage services, Swedish, deep tissue, raindrop, mud wraps, scrubs etc. What I am most proud of is my staff they are all very upbeat, and friendly. I always insist that our clients come first and they should never feel uneasy. I want this to be a tranquil place that people feel happy to visit and relax. I think what sets us apart is our “Monday’s at Intrigue” program. We set aside the 3rd Monday of each month to see cancer patients from 10-3. Any cancer patient that is currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation can come here and get services for absolutely FREE

Dyer is a small town with lots of choices for food, lots of nice subdivisions that are safe, Large grocery chains and small business deli’s . Dyer is on the top 100 cities to live in.
