Meet Sandy Diamond of Fenceworks in Northbrook

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sandy Diamond.

Sandy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
50 years ago our father started Fenceworks. His mission was to provide homes with beauty, privacy, and security. Now with the second generation, as well as Stan, running the business, we install fences all over the north shore area and the north side of Chicago. After many successful years in the business, we branched out into high-end swing sets, basketball systems, and trampolines.

Has it been a smooth road?
Being in business for 50 years will always have its ups and downs. It’s how you handle each situation that arises, whether good or bad, that defines your business. We feel we have been very successful in each challenge and always treat our customers like family.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Fenceworks “aka the guy on 41” story. Tell us more about the business.
We sell and install fences, basketball systems, trampolines, and high-end swing sets. We are very proud of our excellent reputation and making backyards a fun place to be!

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Fences have been around forever. All homes will either get a dog, have children, or want some privacy. Amazing strides in the swing set, trampoline, and basketball systems will make the product safer and a lot of fun.
