So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Originally, space started out as a full-time coworking space… while we do still have coworking areas on different floors of the building, we decided that we wanted to focus more on special events. We give our clients the full creative freedom to decorate the space and turn it into the event they truly imagined, and we love seeing people’s ideas come to life.
Now, just about a year since Venue 1420 has existed, and dozens of fashion shows, fundraisers, birthday parties later, we are continuing to perfect our craft and are looking forward to being part of many more special events!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with anything, there are always a few bumps in the road. For the most part, it has been smooth sailing!
Please tell us about Venue 1420.
Venue 1420 is an event space that specializes in all types of events. We are largely known for the many fashion shows that have been hosted here as well as fundraisers for several non-profits.
Personally, my favorite thing about Venue 1420 is the versatility that we have within the space. This allows our clients to really make the space their own, no matter what type of event. It can be dressed up for more formal events, or left just as it is and it will still look great!
