Thanks for sharing your story with us Dr. Pinski. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Our practice has been open for 50 years. My father, J.B. Pinski started his Dermatology practice in 1967. He joined an existing dermatology practice which dates back to being one of the oldest Dermatology practices in Chicago. I joined my father in 1991, after completing medical school, internship and Derm residency training at Northwestern University. My mother was an artist. I feel this background gave me a great combination and aesthetic eye for details.
Pinski Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery treats both medical dermatological conditions and performs a variety of cosmetic procedures (such as Botox, Fillers, Lasers, Skin Tightening, Fat Melting Silhouette Instalift and Aesthetic Skin Care Services) and surgeries (Liposculpting and Hair Transplants).
Has it been a smooth road?
Let’s say it has been a dynamic road. You have to evolve and grow, or you become stagnant. However, the practice of medicine has changed dramatically over the past 26 years. Managed care, the Affordable Healthcare Act, (Obamacare), and electronic medical records are three obvious examples.

At Pinski Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery we care for general dermatology patients, including skin cancer treatment. A large part of our practice is concerned with aesthetics. For decades we have been at the forefront for dermatology and cosmetic surgery providing breakthrough treatments to revitalize our patients. As one of the nation’s top users of Botox, I have been a national instructor of this and other cosmetic procedures to physicians for years.
