We are a fourth-generation family owned business specializing in home furnishings.
Mueller Interiors, Inc. is a premier home decorating and furnishing establishment in Chicagoland.
As an award-winning business, we’ve been satisfying clients for over 100 years with our custom draperies, expert re-upholstery, and new “mart-style” custom furniture at value prices. Quality and service have always been one of our top priorities.
We do our own upholstery and window treatments.
At our store/showroom location we have the ONLY decorating business in McHenry County that operates a showroom with drapery & upholstery workrooms at the same location.
We offer Quality New Furniture (upholstered – bedroom – dining – & occasional), Custom Draperies, Hunter Douglas Blinds – Shades & Shutters, area rugs, & the finest selection of fabrics in Chicagoland.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Growing in a bad economy. We were able to purchase at a value price our current location. Our high-quality showroom/workroom is 3 1/2 times the size of our previous location. Our customer service, pricing. and quality has allowed to grow in the economic downturn.

We are unique. We are a FAMILY business that has our own upholstery & drapery WORKROOM on site.
The first part of our showroom features a Very large display of Hunter Douglas Blinds, Shades, & Shutters. The second part displays quality customizable furniture at value prices. Throughout the store are different displays of custom draperies & window treatments, to make it easier for customer to visualize. Why go anywhere else?
