Today we’d like to introduce you to Nunzia Pranzo.
Nunzia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My passion for esthetics and beauty started from when I was a young girl. Like any young girl going through their mom’s makeup, I was amazed how all these products could transform and boost someone’s self-esteem. I was truly inspired.
As I got older my interest increased, I became more passionate about skin care and beauty. I learned that proper skin care alone can project so much from a person. And any makeup applied only would enhance a person’s natural beauty. When a client leaves resonating such confidence, the reactions in which are given are not only reassuring but are also motivating to others and myself.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Just like any road, there is always some sort of obstacle one must overcome, whether it be a speed bump to go over or a pothole to go around. When concentrating on something you love, in my case skin care, you find yourself needing to improve other skills so that you can continue to make a step forward.
One of my biggest challenges in this business is having to get my clients to understand that many of these well known larger product lines may not always sell things that are actually beneficial for their skin care needs. In this profession, there is an over saturation of spa locations which makes it very difficult to stand out above the rest.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Nunzia Beauty Bar story. Tell us more about the business.
At Nunzia Beauty Bar we believe that everybody should feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. We offer a variety of beauty services such as waxing and skin treatments ( Facials, Skin resurfacing peels, body treatments). We also specialize in brow shaping and Brazilians.
What I am most proud of in my company and sets me apart from other similar businesses is that my main mission is to assist and guide clients to achieve their skin care goals. I am not in this industry because of the monetary aspect, but because I want to help clients feel beautiful and confident inside and out.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I honestly don’t feel that good or bad luck has played much of a role in my success personally or any success my business may have. I believe that the drive and motivation I have within myself is what dictates my business’ future.
