Today we’d like to introduce you to Mitch Katkus.
Mitch, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Born and raised in Saint Charles, Illinois, I began M.K Movers when I was just in high school. A few buddies and I needed money, and with my dad running a Penske leasing office, we decided to try and move people’s belongings for profit using the available Penske trucks. It ended up a success and grew with word of mouth marketing.
I later graduated with a degree in business management from Western Illinois University in 2011 and went back to St. Charles to continue with M.K Movers. The company has since completed almost 10,000 moves and continues to grow larger every year.
