Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Andreano.
Mike, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
When I was 13 years old I had a shoulder injury that a chiropractor helped me with and ever since I wanted to be a chiropractor. When I graduated from chiropractic I became very interested in nutrition and homeopathy and as I studied these areas began to transform my practice into a more holistic model.
Has it been a smooth road?
The hardest part of working with people are the ones who do not get better. Those are the ones that keep you up at night and drive you to research and learn more. Those are the patients that have pushed me to develop new techniques and ways to apply my trade.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Trinity Holistic Health Center story. Tell us more about the business.
My practice is based on a unique stress based model of health and dysfunction. Your body is designed to adapt to stress. Stress is anything that requires your body to change function to accommodate. For example: Going from sitting to standing, going from a warm room to a cold room, digesting food, taking medications, environmental toxins, infections, injuries, electromagnetic fields and of course emotional upset.
Everyone has a certain amount of stress that they can adapt to but too much stress for too long and things start to take a toll on your health and you have symptoms.
This concept has application to every area of health and disease.
My job is to identify the areas of stress that we can reduce and then help your body to increase its capacity to adapt and handle stress. The result is improved health and vitality and the resolution of symptoms. My Stress Response Analysis enable me to do this without the use of drugs or surgery is very gentle and safe.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
Alternative health has bone mainstream and continues to grow. The public is becoming more educated and realizing that conventional medicine does not have all the answers and that many of their concerns can be met within the alternative health world.
