Today we’d like to introduce you to Camille Virginia.
Camille, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m the Founder of Master Offline Dating, where I help single women attract amazing men in the real world – without opening an app or logging on to a website. I’ve been mastering this art for years by simply living out my passion and honing a talent for connecting with others in person, including meeting and dating men.
It wasn’t always that way though. I’m an introvert, and I grew up super shy – not just around men, but around EVERYONE. (and I mean, couldn’t-even-look-someone-in-the-eye shy, let alone talk to them). So I completely understand the anxiety (and sheer terror) at the thought of meeting men in the real world.
I finally got tired of feeling socially clueless around – so, I started taking small steps outside my comfort zone (like going to a party alone and making myself meet one new person) to gradually build up my confidence, especially around men. And as I practiced, I saw the number of times I was asked for my phone number climb into the triple digits – without ever going online or using any apps.
Finally, my friends asked how I was able to meet all these guys in real life – so, being a corporate consultant at the time, I created a PowerPoint presentation for them on how to meet men.
Eventually, that presentation turned into a live workshop, which I taught over 100+ times to HUNDREDS of single women across Chicago. And while the main focus of what I help my clients with is improving their dating life, it actually goes so much deeper than that.
Because my real passion + expertise lies in helping people combat loneliness and create meaningful connections with each other. As one of my workshop students, Elena put it…

This year is the 3 year anniversary of going full time with my business, and I’ve had the pleasure of helping women from all over the world (women from over 80 different countries are on my email list) reading my materials, joining my courses, and learning how to meet men in the real world!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Definitely not a smooth road! I’m so glad I didn’t know how crazy starting your own business can be before I actually started, it probably would have discouraged me – but once you’re in it, if you have a topic you KNOW the world needs to see and you’re good at it and people want it, there’s no choice for me but to keep going.
And it’s been the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Getting stories from women around the world, like Israel, Greece, Australia, and more, about how they’ve not just been able to meet great men without losing a piece of their soul to online dating and apps, BUT that they just feel more confident about themselves and connected with the world around them is an incredible feeling.
I know the incredible power of that type of transformation, from my own journey of feeling powerless and self-conscious to confident and able to have a meaningful conversation with anyone – and also how to steer that conversation into a date too!
The biggest business struggle has not been in the hard work – I’m ok with that, and I love most of it – but the challenge is in what should I be doing/which direction should I be taking my business in based on my industry, my expertise, my natural strengths, etc.
There’s a whole market of entrepreneurs selling to other entrepreneurs out there, and the options of what you “should” be doing are absolutely overwhelming. I finally got an amazing coach (fellow Chicagoan-turned-San-Diegan) Kamila Gornia and getting clear direction and next steps from her have been invaluable.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Master Offline Dating – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I’m unique in that I’m the only “offline dating” coach in the world – truly, Google it! Most other dating coaches either specialize in only online dating or have online as part of what the coach on – but I’m exclusively about how to meet people in the real world.
I focus on how to be a woman of quality by living a quality life, being more approachable so you can naturally attract people to you, how to get off the small talk and into meaningful conversations with anyone you meet, and how to tap into your natural femininity and flirty side.
The women who come to me don’t want to be online – and they shouldn’t have to be! The world as we know it was populated just fine by people who found each other without online dating and apps for hundreds of thousands of years.
We still have those same skills and capabilities that our ancestors (or hell, even our parents) did, but they’ve gotten buried in our fast-paced, on-demand consumer culture of hiding behind screens and mistaking social media for being social.
I’m most proud of the fact that I get to help people not only improve their dating life but their confidence and communication skills in every aspect of their life!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m changing my business model a bit to move from mostly private coaching clients to offers that can reach a lot more people – like online courses (for offline dating!), group programs, and a membership community.
I started out teaching live workshops (over 100!) for women in my apartment via Dabble (www.dabble.co), which enabled me to refine my material through direct feedback, start building my email list, and help my students create their own success stories with the material, which proved it didn’t just work for me, it works for everyone.
