Little Jack Marketing started in 2010 with 2 simple goals in mind. First, to be a practical marketing partner for growing businesses in Chicago. Second, provide a 100% remote work environment for its team members to experience the world while delivering results. Today, Little Jack actively runs campaigns for more than 10 companies’ on-going, supports over 200 businesses, and has a team of 10 people located in Chicago, Oregon, Florida, Zagreb, and Budapest. In 2016, Little Jack acquired 2 Chicago based agencies which lead to rapid growth in a short period of time.
Like most good dark horse stories, Little Jack was started from a bedroom located in Chicago’s Little Italy neighborhood near UIC. After Marcel, founder, left his job at a start up as a marketing director he ventured out on his own. Starting from scratch, with no clients there was a long road ahead.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Most definitely not.
Knocking on doors. Cold calling. Selling services. Learning services. Changing services. Technology changing. Gaining new clients. Losing clients. Hiring employees. Losing employees. Firing employees. Training employees. Creating system. Changing systems. Re-creating systems. Relationships (professional and personal). Cash flow!

We’ve positioned ourselves as a practical marketing partner who puts our clients’ needs as our #1 objective. We’re constantly striving to identify how we can provide more value through the services we provide and through the partnership we offer.
Our services include a “standard” mix of online marketing efforts such as websites, blog writing, email campaigns, design, strategy, and paid advertising.
Many of our active clients have been with us for over 5 years! We’re proud that we have the opportunity to work with small- and mid-sized businesses and the people that run them. We’ve been entrusted with helping people grow their business and reach their dreams.
The remote work environment that Little Jack provides has allowed me (Marcel) to be on the road for over 9 months while working. I’m currently in Budapest, HU and visit new countries in between projects and on the weekends.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
The goal is to stay ahead of the technology curve while we continue to deliver value and results for our clients. The team is continually growing and we plan to create more full time positions in 2018. We’re also looking for ways to develop our internal team culture and provide opportunities for team members to travel more in-between projects and weekends too. We’ve always been a results oriented work environment and that’ll never change as we expand and grow.
