Marc, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Opened in July 2013 with my wife after finding the perfect location. We provide expert services in a relaxing and beautifully clean environment. The products we use are top grade. Our online booking system and rewards membership program gives back 5% with appointment reminders. Not your typical nail salon layout and color scheme of environment. We recently had a makeover of the space and we have received rave reviews.
Please tell us a little more about Spa Spazio Nail Salon.
I am owner of Spa Spazio with my wife Mishelle. I take care of all facets of running the business from payroll to supplies. I do no professional care myself. I am very proud of my wife running the best nail salon in Chicago. She has done a fantastic job since we opened. The décor and layout for the space we have to work with is amazing. I think the décor and how clean our salon is what sets our salon apart from others. It’s also less busy on a side street than on Armitage.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Flooring… Although the original Brazilian Cherry Bamboo flooring looked fantastic for a year or 2. It could not withstand the beating of chairs moving over it. Now we have a brighter color, more resilient vinyl type material that looks great too.
