Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Ziemba.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Lisa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Growing up in the entertainment world my mother was a clown; my brother and I had to learn the business from a very young age. We were part of the Triton Trouper Circus for about 10 years doing clowning and juggling acts and it was tons of fun. As I grew older we would all work together as a team doing face painting and balloons for all events.
Continuing on with this journey I have branched out into my own business and so have my mother and brother, they have done the same. Although we have separate businesses we continue to work together helping each other out when needed. I enjoy going to parties and making the children and the adults (that also need to act like children themselves) smile. It’s a great feeling that you have made someone’s day and they have truly enjoyed themselves!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Some of my struggles along the way have been with the business aspect of things like sales, but I mainly rely on word of mouth.
Lisa’s Face Painting and Balloons – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My company mostly specializes in face painting, balloons, and glitter tattoos. As the owner/founder I take every phone call, email, text message personally and see it all the way through. I firmly believe in great customer service and making everybody happy with my services!
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I personally define success as being able to do something that you love to do and that you put your heart into your work! Success isn’t about money, it’s about being truly happy in what you are doing.
