Meet Lisa Gasparian of Amorino Gelato in Gold Coast

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Gasparian.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lisa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
On a trip years ago with my son in Paris we stumbled upon a charming gelato store called Amorino. Today, I own Amorino Gelato in the Gold Coast. I opened the store in 2015. I was at the perfect time in my career and life to bring this European Franchise to Chicago. As an Entrepreneur and Mother, I keep myself very busy between my two loves, my son and my store.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being an Entrepreneur is not a smooth journey at all. There are obstacles you face at all times. Must be able to wear many hats and operate at high speeds most of the time. The most interesting obstacle in my experience with Amorino was bringing an International Franchise to Domestic Land. Extraneous rules and work, but all so worth it.

Amorino Gelato – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Amorino is an Italian Gelato Cafe specializing in Authentic Italian Gelato. Coffee. Crepes. Waffles. Using only Organic and Natural products our gelato is made directly in Europe and imported to the States. What you are eating at Amorino is the true European experience of Gelato with core flavors that all customers enjoy.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is a topic in which most of us will define differently. To myself, success is knowing your purpose in life — living an authentic life, growing each day to reach your maximum potential and learning from your mistakes.
