Kannatopia was started because of experiences I had attending our first industry conference years ago, around my brother, friends growing up and the issues/problems that exist in our industry. I got to where I am today by constant persistence, surrounding myself with the best people I can find and knowing that what we are doing is working to change so many things for our industry and Cannabis consumers.
Has it been a smooth road?
A smooth road never happens for anyone. Every day is a struggle and it can be quite a roller coaster at times. The best way I can put it is that it is a struggle every single day because you are trying to create something that has no roadmap. You are out there paving your way every single day and trying to accomplish little wins.

We are “Facebook For The Cannabis Ecosystem” and elevate peoples Cannabis experiences with a community, specific features around guides, recommendations and a tool to track your experiences. We specialize in the Cannabis Industry and Technology.
I would say that I am most proud of launching our 1.0 Web app platform with the limited resources we have and the team that we are building.
What really makes us unique is ours teams deep expertise in the Cannabis industry, diverse skills set we have and the specific features we have developed in our platform that provide value to both our users and businesses.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the food, people, and culture of course, but more specifically the character it has and how tech is playing a very important role in shaping our city.
I would say what I like least is the traffic.
