Today we’d like to introduce you to Ken Christianson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started in the Audio business directly after graduation from Aurora College in 1976 working for Pacific Stereo a large audio change at the time. After learning a bit about audio business, I moved on that an independent Audio Dealer Victor’s Stereo in the fall of 1977 eventually managing and doing marketing for his two locations, also getting involved in the Professional Recording engineering numerous projects for independent artists. In 1983 with the aid of my Partner John Schwarz, we started Pro Musica which is now going into our 34th year in business, I have pursued my Recording as well producing well over a hundred released Cd’s LP’s and HiRes downloads, I also started in 2000 teaching Master recording classes at Columbia College.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I can say I have been blessed in that other than a few down markets in Audio it has been a joy to do the things I love, being involved in music.

Pro Musica I believe is a special place where without any pressure our clients can select from what we believe to be the best valued audio equipment in the world. This perspective and the fact that we are very selective of the products we represent only offering things we feel have proven quality.
What were you like growing up?
I always loved music, but did play sports, I played High School and College Basketball. I just tried to pursue the things I loved and always did my best to exceed in them.
