Kelly, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Like many Disney fans, I wanted to share my love for Walt Disney and all that he accomplished. First came the blog. Second, came the travel business. Then everything exploded from there.

Guru Travel is built on the foundation of knowledge. As a former teacher, my passion for teaching permeates into every aspect of my life and Guru Travel is no exception. A well-educated traveler is a happier traveler and a well-educated team can provide every traveler with the perfect vacation.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. Like anything else, success comes with failure. I’ve had several along the way, but through hard work and a team which is always by my side, I grew from each trial and turbulence along the way. Like any small business owner, struggles can range from financial to explosive growth outside of your reach. When things like this happen, you have to slow down, recalculate and focus on the goal.
