Today we’d like to introduce you to Jonathon Maneval.
Jonathon, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started Fire & Water Restoration a few years ago. I grew up working with my grandfather and his construction and remodeling company and during the duration I was there I kept getting restoration inquiries and then I made it a full-time job.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The tough part was getting referrals because you need to be in tight with the insurance companies. It’s all about establishing relationships.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Fire & Water Restoration story. Tell us more about the business.
Most of our claims deal with flood and water damage. 90% of our business is restoring flooded basements and getting them back to normal.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I wouldn’t really call it luck, I would call it hard work.
