Thanks for sharing your story with us Jennifer. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started my company as a mobile spray tanning service going to people’s homes, hotels, or offices. Through word of mouth referrals, the business has grown remarkably over the last 9 years and evolved into a full-blown finishing salon catering to every girl who wants a quick confidence boost!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
HELL NO, it has not been a smooth road! The sunless industry specifically is relatively new so there were many many learning curves. I had to teach myself the skillset and learn how to operate a business, all with zero budget or formal education, while working several odd jobs. I had a business partner then parted ways, I’ve had to move brick and mortar locations and have opened locations nationally which presents its own challenges. I choose to see every struggle as an opportunity to learn and develop myself and my business.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Glowout – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are known for our natural, believable airbrush tans. I developed a unique methodology as well as our own line of organic solution that provides flawless airbrush tans. The popularity of our tanning method has increased our customer base and allowed us to add more services such as blowouts, makeup and group parties which is such fun to watch women connect, relax together, and leave feeling great!!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m looking forward to help aspiring small business owners open their own Glowout locations through our business licensing program. To be part of someone achieving a dream like I have is such a special thing.
