Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Waldron.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jason. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My brother and I rented a loft workspace to have somewhere in the city that we could create. We started out making art out of reclaimed wood for friends and family. People saw it on social media and orders started coming in. We eventually started making furniture and that is when the business really took off. We specialize in making custom dining tables, floating shelves and reclaimed wall art.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It is always difficult getting a business off the ground but we were able to fall back on years of sales experience and confidence in our product to quickly set ourselves apart from competition. We were lucky enough to quickly build a reputation for quality woodwork and customer service which has resulted in a steady stream of business.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Waldron Bros Woodworking – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We create art and furniture out of wood. Most of the wood is reclaimed or salvaged from old homes and buildings coming down around the city. We specialize in reclaimed wall art and dining tables. Something that makes me proud is to see our art work and furniture around the city in homes restaurants and bars. It feels good to have so many repeat and happy customers.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are really excited to see what the future brings. We’ve recently released a new line of wall art which we believe will be very popular. Otherwise, we are continuing to learn more everyday and striving to get better at our craft.
