Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Silver.
Jason, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
While being an active reservist in the US Navy as a SeaBee (construction) I needed to make more money while attending college, so I got incorporated and placed so ads in the local paper for handyman work. From there, through referrals, things slowly grew. It wasn’t too long before I was doing kitchens, baths, basements, etc. So fast forward 10 years to today I am a full service general contractor that does residential and commercial construction.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
In this field there are not a lot of people as young as I was starting construction companies. So getting jobs was not easy at first. It took years of working to prove myself and people providing me the right opportunities that allowed me to grow into the company I own today.

SilverBulletInc. is a general construction company providing full service for smaller commercial job and all residential. We specialize in remodeling and not ground up. Some of our projects have been featured in magazines and we were lucky enough to be on the HGTV show Chicago Flippers. Want really sets us apart from other GC companies is that I, as the owner, am always at job site and still get my hands dirty on a daily basis. If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
There are not a ton of things I would have done differently. I believe the hardships and struggles I’ve had along the way have really helped shape the business man I am today.
