Jake, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
-John Fell, a veteran of the specialty menswear industry founded e-Marketing Logic in 2002 to provide digital marketing services to independent apparel retailers.
-John grew up on the North Shore in Highland Park.
-John’s family, the Fell family owned, owned The Fell Company, a multi-generational clothing store. in Winnetka and Highland Park that was in business for 94 years (from 1913-2007). John worked in the business for decades before branching out on his own.
-John founded eMarketing Logic (originally E-Mail Logic) as an e-mail marketing agency.
-We have grown and provided digital marketing services to numerous industries, still including many of the top independent retailers in the US.
-We have over 75 clients we work with regularly.
-John and his son Jake manage operations. Jake runs an office in Denver with a team of developers, designers, and marketing strategists.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Digital marketing is always changing. We have always had to evolve and find new ways to add value for clients. We started as an e-mail marketing agency and have grown into a full-service digital marketing agency. Many of our clients rely on us as their outsourced marketing department.
