Meet Ido Rabiner of Strayboots in The Loop, The Magnificent Mile and Navy Pier

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ido Rabiner.

Ido, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Strayboots started its self-guided mobile adventures in New York City, becoming the most used tour in the city. Since then we’ve expanded to more than 55 cities worldwide and supported over 300,000 players. In the recent years Strayboots is focused on group activities and team building outing, and more than 1,000 companies already used our mobile team building activities and scavenger hunts.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It wasn’t always a smooth road, but we kept trusting our product and team, knowing that whatever obstacle we’ll face, we’ll know how to overcome it.

In our first days, we were more focused on individuals and self-guided tours, but very soon realized that the demand for effective team building activities is increasing, and companies understand the importance of employee engagement, so we needed to change our business model and product, to be more corporate-oriented, and provide unique solutions for groups and organizations.

Strayboots is a global provider of Mobile Scavenger Hunts and Digital Experiences for team building activities, group adventures, and city exploration.

Engaging team building activities are outdated, a logistical nightmare, and tough to find. We know that fun and effective team activities are key, and our mobile outdoor and indoor scavenger hunts, has proven to be the most fun, easy and reliable way to facilitate corporate and team building events.

We have more than 100 team building activities and scavenger hunts that are fun, innovative, social, affordable, collaborative, and productive.

Our scavenger hunts have the best content and unique challenges, and companies see the value in working with us. We see the results and the happy faces of everyone after they play with one of our scavenger hunts, and that’s the most important thing for us – to make a change and to bring a true value to our customers.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Increasing the content and team activities in our existing cities, expanding to new cities and locations, and add more products and services.

We also plan on partnering with leading tourism and leisure companies, like hotels, parks, shopping districts, museums and other attractions, to bring unique experiences and content to their customers. And we plan on becoming a one-stop-shop for companies and organizations, when they plan their next company event or team building outing.

  • Pricing is based on the number of participants, usually ranges between $30-$50 per person
  • There are no set-up fees, and the event customization is free, including for adding additional challenges
