Meet Holden Metz of All Sports Series in South Loop

Today we’d like to introduce you to Holden Metz.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
All Sports Series was founded in 2010 in Highland Park, IL. In the summer of 2011, our first Chicago League formed. In the beginning, All Sports Series focused solely on “All Sports” Leagues where the Teams would rotate between sports each week. Since then we have added Sport-Specific Leagues as well. We are based in Chicago and have Leagues across the country, specifically in different college towns: Univ. of Illinois, Indiana Univ., Univ. of Michigan, Michigan State Univ., Univ. of Texas, and Univ. of Wisconsin.

Our Leagues offer Players premium content such as personalized statistics, weekly highlight videos and weekly power rankings articles for each Team. We also provide premium jerseys to our Players.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
There are always challenges in any business. We have been very fortunate and have seen our Leagues grow significantly year after year. 2017 is already on pace to shatter our previous participation numbers.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with All Sports Series – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
All Sports Series provides an unparalleled opportunity for both our Players and our Sponsoring Partners. Our Leagues are built to maximize fun and competition for our Players through unique league formatting and rules as well as the premium content we provide: stats, highlight videos, power rankings articles etc. This allows our Players and Teams to stay connected with us when they are away from our Leagues during the week and eagerly anticipate getting back to the League. This provides a unique opportunity for our Sponsoring Partners to engage with a captive audience.

We are probably most known for providing high quality Leagues with high quality jerseys, stats, refs etc.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We will continue to grow in and outside of Chicago. We have our eyes on more college markets. We also plan on continuing to innovate in the industry.
