I spent many years in the retail business and decided I was ready for a change after seeing a change coming. Decided to try part time Real Estate-thinking I could make my own hours and work when I want…That was a crazy concept- thirty years later I have sold almost a billion dollars in homes! I love what I do-I am passionate and cannot imagine retiring anytime soon!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I am very lucky my career took off very quickly-hard work and being in the right place at right time!

My career in residential Real Estate has made me a better person, I have learned patience, perseverance and truly I love what I do and that in turn rubs off to my personal life!
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Being a part of the Presidents Elite – top 1%-2 % in the country since I started with Coldwell Banker and my son Zack Matlin joining me to form “Matlin Residential Real Estate”
