Girard, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was working for multiple casino rental companies in the Chicago land area and traveling all over the Midwest dealing and managing casino themed parties. I saw how much Organizations were paying for events and what kind of service they were receiving. I took what I saw as a Casino party manager and reported it to multiple casino owners. Nothing changed so I decided to start GSH Casino Parties in 2014. My goal was to provide an awesome first class experience for our clients.
1.) We are expert event planners! We will work with you on floor plans and answer questions prior to your event. We also do some detail call 5-10 days before your event to ensure your event is a success.
2.) We have world class customer service! The GSH Way is- Genuine, Sincere and Helpful in all of our interactions.
3.) We put on fun/memorable events! The proof is the repeat business we get from the majority of our clients.
Established in 2014. After working in the casino party industry for more than 5 years, the partners at The GSH Group knew it was time for a change. They recognized that better organized, more enthusiastic, and more fun events were needed. The GSH Group officially opened its doors to provide Casino Parties on January 1st, 2014, but that does not mean the team is without experience. Quite the contrary, as the partners are all casino-level dealers and have assisted in raising millions of dollars for numerous charities using Casino Parties. Casino Parties are fun and appropriate for family gatherings, corporate outings, and team-building as no money is involved in the gaming. Since inception we have been growing our business at about 50% per year since 2014.
Has it been a smooth road?
In business there are always struggles.
1. Setting up my business as an S corporation was very difficult.
Finding clients is an extremely difficult endeavor. With Technology always changing you have to keep on top of marketing strategies.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I was born and raised in Rogers Park so Chicago will always be home to me. The city is a beautiful place with a lot of great architecture. The thing that makes Chicago the best is the awesome people.
The thing that I like the least about the city is some of the buildings have small elevators. That can prove to be challenging when trying to move large tables.
