Thanks for sharing your story with us Georgia. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I began falling in love with Interior Design when my family built a home when I was young. I fell in love with the materials, lighting and furniture as we designed the home. Everything aspect of the design process interested me. I ultimately knew I had a love for design!
When I decided to pursue it as a career, I went to school for Interior Design, after completing 2 other degrees. I worked for several design firms before opening my own in 2005. I wanted to have a voice in the design community.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth road at all. There are times you are very busy and times you slow down and you need to be conscious of ever evolving and ever changing with the times. I still have to network and keep developing my relationships to find my clients. You also need to evolve as your on line presence is just as important as the way that you present yourself in person. Integrity is very important to me and I try to project that in the quality of my work and the way that I treat my clients. It ultimately is my dream come true.

I love the eclectic diversity of Chicago, You will find all elements of design here from classic traditional to sleek contemporary and everything in between. There is a place for and they overlap, that is why now more than ever you need interior designers that are well versed in all aspects of design. Chicago has historical design elements like Frank Lloyd Wright. The Merchandise Mart is an interior designer’s greatest resource in finding the highest quality and most innovative product for our client’s.
