Today we’d like to introduce you to Matt Gentle.
Matt, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My story started with my Mother, who runs a massage school and taught me very early on the power that the body has to heal itself and that there are ways to help people unlock their body’s fullest potential. Since then, I have been getting training and certifications in every healing and fitness modality I have come across to give a very unique, natural healing and sports therapy experience to my clients through my business.
As far as Elite goes, the vision my partners and I have mirrors what I have been doing with my personal practice – offering as many services as I can to get you better and more fit, naturally – just on a much larger scale, with the addition of cutting edge technology that was once only available to professional athletes.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I have a very laid-back approach to life and business. I know that people need the options that Elite offers to experience their optimal wellness no matter their ultimate goal. What others might consider a “struggle” or worrisome never bothers me, I just see it as we are changing the world and that can take time and have resistance points. It’s the way of the world that we are changing. Seeing people every day that are more fit than they have ever been, who are no longer suffering from disease or an injury, tells me we are on the right path.
Please tell us about Elite Wellness.
Elite is a one stop shop with the technologies and techniques you need to recover, rejuvenate, maintain or transform your bodies, naturally.
I am a holistic practitioner dedicated to stay educated in all of the newest techniques and technologies that will assist my clients with their fitness and wellness goals. I have training and certifications in functional rehab, exercise physiology, massage therapy, soft tissue, traditional Chinese medicine, essential oils, sleep therapy and so much more. I have a substantial “tool box” so we can get you to where you need to be.
My partners and I all come from extensive sports therapy backgrounds, whether the focus was on strength, training, maintenance or recovery. Through this, we have worked with athletes from the minors to the professional and Olympic level. We were exposed to modalities, techniques and technologies that could assist in overall wellbeing for so many within the general public, not just top athletes. So, we put as many of those elite techniques and technologies as we could under one roof, so everyone could have those options to achieve their goals.
How much we love what we do and how passionate we are to be helping people and how grateful we are to be living our dream is what sets us apart from others.
What role has luck played in your life and business?
I was lucky to have an amazing mother that showed me the way to learn and help people. Any results beyond that, I believe have more come from intent and results both in my life and business. Everything happens for a reason.
