Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Jess Enderby.
Dr. Enderby, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I chose to be a chiropractor because of all that went along with it. I love how adjustments help with pain and function, and I love how chiropractors take such a holistic approach to health. We look at the cause of an issue to fix the problem versus a quick fix. Why does someone have low back pain? Why does their knee hurt?
It’s all about WHY versus what pill can someone take. You don’t get headaches because of a lack of ibuprofen in the body… There’s a reason you are experiencing the pain you are. Chiropractors are a great link to find out the cause.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Chiropractors used to have a bad rap. I believe that people don’t fully understand what chiropractic does and can help with. Chiropractors help with so much more than low back pain and neck pain. WE HELP THE BODY FUNCTION. Your brain controls every single thing in your body.
It sends messages to every single organ and tissue in your body. If the nerves that go to these areas aren’t functioning the way they should, then you aren’t functioning at your best. Chiropractors are the only link there. Nerves exit through the spinal column (which is what chiropractors adjust and correct. This way these nerve signals are being sent properly.
My challenges are to get my message out there so people understand how awesome chiropractic truly is!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Phoenix Chiropractic – what should we know?
I am a CBP Chiropractor, where I work with mostly athletes. This is everything from the Olympic athletes to the weekend warriors. That being said, if you have a body, you are an athlete.
I work to fix people’s pains and problems from a structural approach, where I find out what each individual’s normal is, and work to get them to that point. This, in turn, fixes their issue long-term and prevents further injury. This is everything from migraines/headaches, concussions, neck pain, shoulder issues, elbow pain, wrist problems, mid-back pain, low back pain, hip pain, knee pain, ankle pain, etc.
I love to work with athletes that have goals to improve significantly and want to take that next step to get to the next level. I work with diet, exercises, structural rehabilitation, and so much more! The results speak for themselves.
