Meet Doru and Claudia Halip of H Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Doru and Claudia Halip.

Doru and Claudia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
We’ve started in 2006 as Halip Photography Studio located in Europe after a 5 years’ experience as cruise ship photographers. We enjoyed our time in Europe photographing different projects and weddings in Romania, Moldavia, Ukraine, Italy, Spain, France, Greece, England and Scotland. In 2011, we chose to relocate to Chicago from Europe. The studio name branded into H Photography. We were astonished by Chicago’s awesome architecture, traditional atmosphere and promise as an ideal city to raise a family in. We knew we had found our new home in the world.

Our studio was a Wedding Wire Rated 2012 feature, a program based on recent newlywed reviews. In January of 2013, H Photography received the Bride’s Choice Award 2013 and The Knot Best of Weddings 2016. This designation was based on the positive experiences expressed by past clients on Wedding Wire and The Knot, the world’s largest wedding review site (over one million reviews).

We’ve been published and our wedding photos featured in many publications around US.

Has it been a smooth road?
For us it was a smooth transition, we have grown from year to year.
