Meet Dennis Dazzo of All In 01 Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dennis Dazzo.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Dennis. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I actually went to school for auto mechanics right out of high school. I stayed in that industry for 13 years until health issues made my passion turn into hate. I found myself struggling just to make it work every day. It was at that moment I realized I needed a change.

I decided to change my whole life. I began working on my health and began to search for something I could be passionate about. In 2003 I went on a job interview for an HVAC technician. Having a mechanical background paid off. They hired me on the spot. I was very fortunate to have that opportunity. The company I worked for sent me to school and paid for it all.

Fast forward 6 years and the company I was working with was starting to fail. They ended up laying off the entire crew and leaving us all jobless. During this time our economy wasn’t at its best and it was taking its toll on the trades.

I did find other jobs but would end up being laid off during the slow months. In 2010 I decided enough was enough and I was going start my own business. I figured if I didn’t have enough work to keep myself busy then I could only blame myself.

The first 3 years were the hardest. I would have to get a part-time job doing anything just to stay afloat. 2014 was the first year I had enough work I didn’t need a part-time job. Now each year just keeps getting better.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I guess my biggest struggle on this journey was not having enough work which put a dent in my finances. I didn’t have the funds for advertising, tools, and equipment. I didn’t realize how long it really does take to build a clientele and a name for yourself.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with All In 01 Services – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
At All In 01 Services, we pretty much do it all. HVAC is my passion but I’ve learned to adapt when things get slow. I came up with the name that I thought would fit my personality. If you ask anyone who knows me they would say “Dazzo can fix anything!”

The work we perform breaks down into 3 categories:
1- HVAC. Sales, repairs, maintenance, installs and indoor air quality.
2- Appliance repair.
3- Handyman services. Anything from hanging pictures to staining decks, installing ceiling fans to complete bathroom makeovers. Now you can see how the name fits.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
I’m hoping that after my sons are done with college one of them would take over the family business. In the next 10 years, I’m planning on expanding my company to Wisconsin and have two locations.
