So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’ve been a Electrican for almost 13 years. I started King’s Electrical Services because I knew I can provide a better quality product as well as provide opportunities and help for individuals. My company is relatively new so starting It’s a long and hard process but I’m determined to keep at it.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth. Any new business owner will tell you that capital and cash flow is a major factor. On top of that I’m the new kid on the block so I have to go the extra 3 miles to prove why they should choose me and not someone else that’s been around and more established.

King’s Electrical Services is a MBE Certified Electrical Contractor for the city of Chicago. We specialize in remodel and new construction for residential, commercial and industrial applications. I’m most proud of the small accomplishment we have made as a team. From getting lines of credit, getting bonded, and getting certified in just a short time. Our dedication, pricing and attitude sets us apart from others. We know this business is built on relationships so we are determined to have the best customer service you ever encounter.
What were you like growing up?
Grew up on the west Side of Chicago. Have great parents who taught me the value of hard work. Love watching movies, bowling and hanging out with the family.
