Today we’d like to introduce you to Deidre Wilson.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Deidre. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
In July 2013 I was completely unfulfilled. I was a recent MBA graduate with a solid corporate job – but something was missing. I was incredibly overweight and failing at every diet I had tried. I had this ‘great career’ but hated my job and this corporate 8-5 with only two weeks vacation a year. This is what I had spent 5 1/2 years getting my bachelors and masters to do? I spent $58,000 to do this?!? Was this the life I had signed up for by signing that offer letter?
My coworker introduced me to an online community of women called Tone It Up. I lost 25 pounds and learned the concept of eating lean, clean and green and working out every day. I fell in love with taking care of myself and with sharing my vulnerable story on Instagram to inspire other women to do the same. But then I hit a plateau. I decided to try a new workout and plan – and I got started with P90X3 and Tony Horton from my living room floor. I lost another 20 pounds and hit my goal weight – but better yet – I uncovered the woman I was meant to be from the inside out.
I decided to start my own coaching business after following my mentor on Instagram. She traveled whenever she wanted, she worked from home, she got paid to workout, share her story and fuel her body with whole food. I hated my job anyway … so why not follow this new passion and help other women do the same thing?
Not wanting to be ‘discovered’ by my colleagues on Instagram – I started to share and blog under my handle, @SweatEatLiveRepeat. For three years I was just a hobby coach. I worked my business in my spare time and my business went through seasons of really high ‘s and pretty low. In June 2017 I became a mother and my husband and I discussed my business going full-time. So I quit corporate. I’ve now been a coach for four years and feel that I truly am just getting started as I have only been full-time for 6 months.
At the end of the day – I know what it’s like to be a woman and feel like an underdog. To feel like your life is ‘as good as it’s going to get’. My goal is to help women uncover their true potential – mentally, physically, emotionally and financially. I want to show those underdog women that they don’t have to live in the box society tells them is the ‘right and safe thing’ to do.
This winter I am taking the coursework to become a Certified Personal Trainer so that I can do more than encourage and inspire women – I can really help them become the best version of themselves from the inside out.
Has it been a smooth road?
I think that my biggest challenge has been the mental struggle of ‘what will everyone else say’. I have a BS in Marketing and an MBA in International Marketing – and I left the corporate workforce to join a network marketing company to build my own business and team of women.
I’ve learned through my twenties to stop caring what others may think or say. I don’t fit into the cookie cutter corporate path and that’s completely okay. When I think of what others may say, I am reminded of this quote that has meant so much to me along the way: “Does your opinion of me come with a paycheck?”
It’s ok for me to be my unique self – in fact, that is exactly what the world needs. It needs every single unique self out there and all of our individual talents and gifts. I happen to be good at inspiring other women to be their best self and to see the awesome, kick booty woman that they are deep inside.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Sweat Eat Live Repeat – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I work for Team Beachbody – the company behind all of those late nights, award-winning, fitness infomercials. I specialize in running a virtual, private Sisterhood that encourages women to live their best life. I pair my clients with a trusted, proven fitness program and a nutrition guide/meal plan created by our corporate Dieticians. Then I meet them where they are to provide daily virtual accountability, support, motivation, encouragement and the best part yet, the Sisterhood.
I’m so proud to represent a company that takes all the components of healthy living seriously. My Sisterhoods are all about working out, fueling your body, and finding a community of women that support each other along the way.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the Magnificent Mile, running or biking along the lakefront, and the amazing restaurants! The cost of parking and the cost of parking tickets!

I’ve known Deidre since she was in diapers, she overcame a not so happy childhood! She is the best young lady I know! I love her with all my heart! At age 60 I plan on signing up with her as my coach!
