Meet Danielle Galmore of Workspring in The Loop

Today we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Galmore.

Danielle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Here’s the dilemma – The increased pace of business today makes it harder than ever to harness the transformational power of team collaboration, especially when it comes to meetings. We recognized three contributing factors to this issue. The first, more than anything the “work anywhere” or mobility trend, matched with the use of more consultants and contract employees and the globalization of teams working across continents, created a need to bring distributed, flat teams together on neutral ground, for connection, focused discussion and alignment. The second issue we observed was that technology has enabled the sheer amount of information now available to drive dramatic acceleration of the pace of business today. Much more information is now publically available, making it harder to gain strategic advantage. Lastly, Millennials are now 1/3rd of the U.S. workforce and a key corporate recruitment target illustrated by companies across the country. Millennials crave in-person meeting experiences and the ability to connect with leadership and they have high expectations for using technology to improve meeting dynamics. As a result, organizations often find their critical meetings aren’t engaging or effective, don’t make efficient use of precious time, or don’t produce the tangible outcomes needed to achieve business goals. Workspring was created to help those organizations.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Like every industry, there are changes and trends that you have to keep up with. With each new wave of information comes a learning opportunity to adapt and grow. In 2016 we completed our 7th iteration of our purpose-built, customizable and technology-rich workspace since we opened in 2008. We’re getting better every day not only because as a business you must stay current to remain relevant, but really because we’re truly committed to helping organizations do the best work they are able to; to produce the best outcomes from every single meeting workspring hosts them for. Not only to are we staying current amongst our competitors within the industry but we have to also follow the business industry at large to continuously provide the tools needed for our guests to be productive and successful.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Workspring – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
