Within our showroom is The Rangefinder Gallery, which showcases images made with the legendary Leica M camera. Tamarkin buys, sells, trades and auctions new, used, vintage and rare Leica and other photographica around the world.
Founded in 1971, this family business leads the marketplace in Leica quality, expertise and service. Tamarkin Camera sells more Leica per square foot than any Leica dealer in the world.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
When my father handed me a $5 camera to play around with. I was three or so, and I played with it non-stop, and eventually trashed it – banged it around, dropped it, threw it – like kids do. Year later, we learned that it’s a rare, collectible and valuable camera.
