Today we’d like to introduce you to Dan Becco.
Dan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
After my divorce I was a client in therapy for the first time. I felt that it really had an impact on me and thought I could do this for others someday. I eventually quit my corporate job and went to Northwestern University and graduated with a Masters in Marital and Family Therapy. I was one of the first therapists in the late 90’s who advertised on the internet. That’s how I built my practice and have been doing this this work for the last 20 years as a therapist and life coach with hundreds of people.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were times when I worried about paying the bills but got through it.
Dan Becco M.S., M.F.T. – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m a clinician who focuses on action and results not just talking about how mommy placed you on the potty the wrong way. If you don’t see change in your life as a result of working with me then fire me. It’s not worth it.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Too many to list. I, at times, feel I should be paying my clients for having the privilege of working with them and seeing their beauty shine.
