Meet Cosha TG

Today we’d like to introduce you to Costa TG.

Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My earliest memories of life start at five years old. Can’t remember much before then, but ever since that age I’ve been singing. Took me a while to get into rapping, but once I did, it came just as natural. If you ask me, I had a typical upbringing for an African American kid. Grew up with mom & little to no biological father, but love still surrounded me. A village. They all knew what life had intended for me… music was the only thing I ever talked about. Only thing I ever wanted for myself. Maybe then, it seems out of reach, but now, there’s no doubt!

Please tell us about your art.
My art is me, as I am art + my creativity is rooted in my being. It blossoms thru my music & peeks thru my style. What allows me to create the music I do is the value of life I obtain. I acknowledge that I was born to be different. Simply because there is no other exactly like me. So, as long as I stay true to myself, everything I choose to be & do should be a representation of who I am & what intend to become. Greatness and that’s the impact I wanna leave everyone my influence gets the chance to reach… be yourself… because no one else is better suited.

We often hear from artists that being an artist can be lonely. Any advice for those looking to connect with other artists?
My advice is to reach out to artists that you’d want to work with an artist that you see are grinding just as hard as you! Send a message through their Instagram DM or email, send songs you’d want to collab with them on! Make whatever connections you can to meet other artists!
