Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Vittorio.
Chris, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I began my DJ career in 1993 with a small Chicago based DJ Company. In 5 short years I became their most requested DJ averaging over 100 wedding receptions per year. In the fall of 1998 I decided it was time to move on. I founded Spin Productions with the vision of offering brides and grooms an alternative to the typical wedding DJ. I am proud to say that I have performed at over 1,500 wedding receptions over my 24 year career and my passion for my work continues to grow with every wedding reception.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Business is never a smooth road. Innovations in technology have made for a very expensive road maintaining quality. When I decided to expand my business it proved very difficult to find qualified and committed employees. After much persistence, I was able to partner with a select few DJ’s that I feel are the best that Chicago has to offer.

My plan for Spin’s future is simple, continued success right here were we belong in Chicago. We offer a professional, specialized and very personal service. We are focused on quality not quantity.
