My filmmaker husband, Luis Malagon of Luis Malagon Films, introduced me to the art of photography. I started off photographing nature, friends, and family. Shortly after I shot my first wedding. I’ve been so blessed to have photographed several amazing weddings over the years and look forward to working with many more couples and families to come!
Has it been a smooth road?
Thankfully I’ve been surrounded by friends and family who have been great cheerleaders. Especially, my husband, he has been there for me through my highs and lows. Being a small business owner you have your slow months. The challenge is to stay busy, stay positive and keep learning! Don’t let that negative voice inside stir you. Keep on pushing!

I’m a fine art wedding and portrait photographer who loves the mountains, gazing at the stars and appreciates a good hug. I’m based out of Naperville, IL, but travel for my clients worldwide. Fall season, Harry Potter and 80’s music are my jam! I seek those candid moments of joy, tender kisses, and genuine smiles.
I also photograph elopements and destination weddings. I’m so grateful to work with so many amazing couples and families each and every year. It’s important for me to get to know my clients on a personal level and deliver a fun and memorable photographic experience.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the food and energy of Chicagoans. I dislike the traffic and pollution.
