Today we’d like to introduce you to Bojana Ilic.
Bojana is a Serbian-born artist with a degree in clothing and textile design. After as successful 10-year career in the fashion industry, Bojana was ready for a change and moved to the United States in 2007 where she found painting as a form of expression.
Her company, and artistic name, BOJITT leverages over 15 years of creative experience helping clients express their brand, vision, and passion.
Ranging from corporate clients like Philip Morris and Chevrolet to passion projects like her own fashion design/production studio “Tigidi” based in Belgrade, Serbia, and after school art, design and fashion program for young artist, Bojana’s work has enhanced lives world-wide.
True collaboration and honest expression are Bojana’s strongest assets. Her success stems from her extensive experience and ability to bring ideas to fruition in a unique and professional manor.
“Passion, color and detail define me as an artist and designer… I am inspired by moments, people, music and culture; constantly curious and can’t stop expressing the need to add color and texture in everything around me.”
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
My road is as bumpy as you want to see it, and as smooth as it is!!!
I am a born optimist, I see the road always bright and open for new opportunities. If a person loves something with all heart than finding a way to pursue it as a business is not hard.
I come from a family that was always hard working, My dad was a photographer and entrepreneur, back in Serbia, after communism. And this is where my passion for business and creativity comes from. We lost my father very early, I was 19 at the time he died in a car accident. My mom is no joke, the best parent you can wish for- she is a beast! She kept us in a good discipline and under control. She is one and only person on the planet that will support every idea I ever had – but with a great reasoning, and practical feedback.
They both taught us to keep going and never give up.
Moving to US was a brand new world I took on. And it wasn’t easy, specially being a parent and entrepreneur in a same time brings some good and some challenging things to the table. One is for sure – my son is learning that if he wants something, he has to get up and go get it- and he can be whatever he wants to be. With a hard work and love, 100% love for it!
As everyone, I had struggles in my career, and I believe they are present everyday. But dedication always wins. I am always looking for new opportunities and new clients, students…
Please tell us about Bojitt Studio.
Bojitt is my artistic name and I have 20 years of combined wide international experience in visual and contemporary arts.
This brought BOJITT STUDIO to life. Naturally.

Bojitt Studio offers wide range of services:
– Art and murals, for home and businesses
– Art and design classes for children and adults, crafted to the clients need and interest. Fun and educational.
– Special private and corporate events. We bring live art painting, music and a tone of good energy that your guests will talk about.
-I also work as a personal wardrobe stylist, where I help clients to bring out who they are over a blindly trend flowing.
My approach to a client, no matter of age or a need is to understand their need and to bring out the passion.
The rest is just a magic of creativity.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My parents loved to entertain their friends. There was a great opportunity for my sister and me to put up the shows, art and production-depending of the time and ideas we had. It was always some sort of “bring this idea to life” euphoria in our house. And when hallway is full with paintings, stage is ready, costumes made, we will sell the tickets to our guests….
