Today we’d like to introduce you to BK Park.
BK went to college in Korea to study hotel management and came to Chicago to continue his education. While going to school, he found a part-time job on a sushi line and ended up loving the art of sushi. He continued to pursue his education while working on the sushi line and eventually dropped school to pursue a full-time career in sushi. 23 years later, he has no regrets!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The restaurant industry has always been a tough industry and finding the right staff and people to work with has been an ongoing challenge.
Please tell us about Juno.
Juno is considered one of the best sushi restaurants in Chicago, due to the innovative preparations and high quality sashimi and nigiri. We are especially known for our Omakase, which is a chef’s tasting prepared by Chef BK Park.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I’m very satisfied for now
