Today we’d like to introduce you to Barbara Keenan Loster.
Barbara, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
It’s been a long journey finding my passion for acupuncture and developing my gift of intuition. After spending many years in the hospitality industry and suffering health issues, failures, and my fair share of life lessons, I decided to go back for my Masters in my 50’s. On my first day in school I was smiling within and without like a Cheshire cat because I knew I found my life path and haven’t looked back since!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Definitely has not been a smooth road owning my own business. When I first opened, I had no business experience or a planned budget. I had start-ed up with slim seed money. But being the optimistic idealist, I thought “I can do this”. I fought hard, learned new things, and through the support of my family was able to develop my business to the success that it is today. A benefit of my learning curve, in both my practice of acupuncture and operating a business, was my own personal journey and inner growth that radiates into all areas of my life. This beautiful facet of self-awareness facilitated me to connect better with clients and become a better practitioner and person.

At Three Treasures Acupuncture, we are dedicated to assisting our clients to improve their health and maintain a balanced lifestyle through the use of Acupuncture, Supplements, Energy Healing, and other Holistic approaches. Traditional Chinese Medicine has been proven to be effective in treating many conditions including Allergies, Headaches, Stress, Anxiety, Emotional Disorders, Depression, and many more.
I have developed my own style of acupuncture combining breath, energy movements, intuition, and experience. When I see clients choose to connect with their own inner awareness and create a change in their life which facilitates healing that’s a beautiful process to observe. I am deeply compassionate and committed to empowering my clients to facilitate a path to health and balance in all aspects of their life. Whatever a client chooses for themselves as their healing process I am grateful for.
