Today we’d like to introduce you to Arlene Warda.
Arlene, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My start was like many others. Starting out with small projects and working my way up to bigger projects and better opportunities.
We now have many projects including historic renovation, into new single family and investment multi-family housing walkups, total renovations downtown and in Wicker Park, Bucktown, and Lincoln Park.
We have new retail stores including a new store, coffee shop at 2482 N. Lincoln Ave., Printers Row Coffee Company opening soon.
Has it been a smooth road?
I started out without the internet. It was 1992 with no websites or internet.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Arlene Warda, Architect – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a full service architectural firm. We provide 3 Step Process:
Step 1.0:
-existing survey of buildings
-zoning analysis
-‘before’ and ‘after’ drawings
giving owner ideas for project
Step 2.0:
-estimate and feasibility drawings
for owners to review with contractors
Step 3.0
-building permit drawings.
-field follow-up for conformity to
drawings

The city is always beautiful and improving! I love all the activities and events. Wine & food festivals, farmer’s market, house and garden shows! You can always find something to do every week and every season!
