For over 34 years, Chicago native Anthony has brought influential clients across the country a universal perspective and unsurpassed level of taste, attention, style, and service with his interior design projects.
The firm, spearheaded by Anthony, specializes in classical, contemporary and eclectic interior design for luxury residences and yacht design. In June of last year, Anthony launched a gloss black yacht (H.R.H Lola) as our latest luxury yacht project. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
After weathering 34 years of Chicago interior design, he has seen every possible up and down. Financial, personal, business decline and thoughts of “hanging it up.” He is often referred to as “the bad boy of Chicago design.” He has ridden the roller coaster that comes with being a self-starter and small business entrepreneur.
Currently, Anthony is experiencing an explosive growth, with new offices in the Makers District scheduled to open in July. He is working on projects from San Fran to NYC and points in between.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about ANTHONY MICHAEL INTERIOR DESIGN Ltd. – what should we know?
Anthony is a crazy, fun, dynamic and passionate Industry Influencer who continues to push the design envelope and is considered to be a top 5 interior designer here in Chicago. He is a very creative Chicagoan who takes great pride in our long-standing presence in the city’s design community. He is also involved in civic responsibility through his mentoring to “at risk” youth, and countless philanthropic deeds. His motto is: “Fortune favors the bold” and this is evident in his work and lifestyle. The only Chicago design firm with a gloss black yacht as our calling card.
