Ammon, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m from West Garfield Park- growing up used furniture/unique art/repurposed items was the way of life in my home-I embraced it early…

Subsequently my sister and I kept the momentum alive… finding cool furniture and art… as a consequence we started accumulating too much stuff.

Now we can keep doing moving it forward as a viable business venture. Providing high quality super cool furniture at great prices.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Smooth… relatively. I have a great cast of family and friends who supply the laughs.

The main struggles is letting people know we are here- so come see us.. LOL… bring wine…

We are Accent Minded, we specialize in eclectic one of a kind used furniture, the items that you get from us are rare- you wont find anywhere else..

Most proud that we are a business in the community and very much value the community.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
Absolutely, the Guzman family has been a community staple for 30+ years and they have welcomed me and my sister with open arms..

My family and friends- my tribe is huge…- the level of continued support, affirmation and constant laughter is the key.. never a dull moment with my friends..
