Today we’d like to introduce you to Missy Ranney.
Missy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Missy is our buyer and so much more. She has been with Jack Lewis Jewelers just over 3 years and has become a local celebrity and one in our industry. We do a weekly feature called, “Legitimissy” where Missy chooses her favorite and most fashionable pieces from our extensive inventory to show our social media fans “what’s legit”.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Inventory is never a smooth road and is a constant battle to find the right mix of jewelry at the right price point.
What should we know about Jack Lewis Jewelers? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Missy is a fashion guru with a terrific eye and instincts for what our female self-purchasing clients would love to try on and add to their wardrobes.
Do you have any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general? What has worked well for you?
She will have lots of input on this I am sure but as her boss, I would tell you that she is constantly training and setting an example for the other young women on our team.
